Environmental Indicators for Creating an EPD

Environmental Impact, Resource Use, Waste Category and Output Flow are the four main categories (with 24 sub-divisions) of environmental indicators used in creating an EPD as required by EN 15804.

Note 1:  The over-enrichment of water courses (for example, an increase in the concentration of nitrates and phosphates) encourage the excessive growth of algae and reduce the oxygen content within the water causing damage to ecosystems.
