Note on key structural standard (BS) EN 13986:2004+A1:2015

This is the overall harmonised/designated standard for the use of plywood, OSB and LVL in construction, defining their performance characteristic and test methods. Compliance confers a presumption of ‘fitness for purpose’ for a particular, intended end use. 

It has been confirmed without change but it will re-enter the formal review process once the EU-CPR is revised.  This sets down rules for construction and any changes to the EU-CPR are also likely to be reflected in a revised UK-CPR.
